A magical Andalusian village that has been preserved in every way, just a 10 minutes drive away.  Make sure you park and have a look around every corner for examples of art and history.  In 1978 Casares was declared an historical-artistic complex.

Casares is a friendly town that loves sharing its history with visitors.  Restaurants serving traditional Spanish food eg ‘pringa’ bread dipped in sauce, ‘tortas fritas’, ‘pescaito frito’ (fried fish) and warm home made bread are just a sample of the dishes to tempt you.

Casares' climate is exceptional; cool mountain breezes are a refreshing break from the hot sun on the coast.  The views are spectacular and a great place to get away from it all and relax.

The port of Puerto de la Duquesa is a 5 minute drive away: the harbour has every type of restaurant and bar you could wish for. The local town of Sabinillas is just a 2 minute drive, has plenty of restaurants and bars along the promenade and a weekly market.

Aquamijas Waterpark-family friendly aterpark at the heart of the Costa del Sol. Open May through September. The park offers everything for a full day of sun and exciting water adventures. Great value.
